Trend Nova World is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Manager – University & Partnership Relations to build and nurture global academic partnerships, facilitate student placements, and drive the growth of our Education Division. Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Education Division, the Manager – University & Partnership Relations is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with global universities, colleges, and academic institutions. This role ensures smooth collaboration for student placements, academic programs, and partnership growth, driving the Education Division’s strategic objectives and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development
- Identify and establish new academic partnerships with universities, colleges, and institutions across target regions, securing at least 5–10 new partnerships annually.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and partnership contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with international standards.
- Develop a robust pipeline of potential academic partners, leveraging market research and industry trends to target high-impact institutions.
- Drive partnership initiatives that enhance student placement opportunities, academic program offerings, and collaborative research or exchange programs.
Relationship Management
- Manage ongoing relationships with partner universities and institutions, conducting regular check-ins and annual reviews to maintain strong collaboration.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner institutions, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication.
- Organize joint initiatives, such as webinars, workshops, or recruitment fairs, to strengthen partnerships and promote Trend Nova World’s education services.
- Achieve a 90% satisfaction rate among partner institutions through proactive engagement and tailored support.
Student Placement Support
- Support students in accessing academic programs offered through partnerships, ensuring a streamlined application and enrollment process.
- Collaborate with the Student Counseling & Advisory Services team to align partnership offerings with student needs and aspirations.
- Monitor placement success metrics, targeting an 85% placement rate for students applying through partnered institutions.
- Provide guidance to students on program eligibility, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities tied to partnerships.
Business Growth & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Head of Education Division to expand global academic networks, contributing to the closure of $500K–$2M in partnership-driven contracts annually.
- Identify opportunities to upsell education services, such as joint programs or mobility packages, contributing to 10–15% additional revenue.
- Collaborate with other managers (e.g., Scholarship & Visa Operations, Education Technology & Data) to integrate partnership activities with broader education services.
- Provide market insights and partner feedback to inform Trend Nova World’s education strategy and enhance competitive positioning.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all partnership agreements comply with international education regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate records of partnership agreements, communications, and performance metrics for audit readiness and strategic reporting.
- Deliver quarterly reports on partnership performance, including KPIs such as number of active partnerships, student placements, and revenue generated.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Education Division to support divisional growth and objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in partnership management, international relations, or education consultancy, with a proven track record of building and managing academic partnerships.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, networking, and communication skills; proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and partnership management platforms; ability to work across diverse cultural and time zone contexts.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, International Relations, Business, or a related field; certifications in education consultancy or partnership management are a plus.
- Attributes: Strategic, relationship-focused, and adaptable with a strong ability to build trust and drive collaborative outcomes.
Commission Structure
- Compensation Model: Performance-driven commission model with competitive base compensation, plus incentives tied to partnership agreements, student placements, and divisional revenue growth.
- Performance Incentives: Bonuses or performance shares awarded upon meeting or exceeding KPIs, such as securing 5–10 new partnerships annually, achieving an 85% placement rate, and contributing to 10–15% upsell revenue.
- KPIs: Secure 5–10 new partnerships annually, achieve a 90% partner satisfaction rate, and contribute to an 85% student placement rate.
Work Environment
- Location: Flexible, with the ability to work across multiple time zones to accommodate global partners and teams; potential for international travel.
- Travel: Frequent international travel for partner meetings, recruitment fairs, and strategic engagements.
