Trend Nova World is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Manager – Scholarship & Visa Operations to lead scholarship facilitation and visa processing operations, ensuring seamless support for students pursuing global education opportunities. Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Education Division, the Manager – Scholarship & Visa Operations manages scholarship applications, matching, and disbursement processes, as well as student visa processing operations. This role ensures compliance with international regulations and delivers efficient, high-quality support to students, driving client satisfaction and divisional growth.

Key Responsibilities
Scholarship Operations

  • Oversee the end-to-end scholarship process, including application collection, eligibility screening, matching, and disbursement, ensuring a 95% success rate for qualified applicants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with scholarship boards, funding agencies, and academic institutions to expand funding opportunities for students.
  • Streamline scholarship application processes using digital tools, reducing processing time by 15% annually.
  • Monitor scholarship program outcomes, ensuring alignment with funding partner expectations and organizational goals.

Visa Processing Operations

  • Lead student visa processing operations, managing applications, documentation, and compliance with country-specific immigration requirements.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with international visa regulations, achieving zero application rejections due to procedural errors.
  • Partner with embassies, consulates, and visa agencies to facilitate smooth processing and resolve complex cases.
  • Implement scalable visa processing workflows, targeting a 90% on-time visa approval rate for students.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to international education regulations, immigration laws, and funding agency requirements across all operational markets.
  • Conduct regular audits of scholarship and visa processes to maintain accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all scholarship and visa activities, supporting client tenders and compliance reviews.
  • Provide training to team members on regulatory updates and best practices to ensure consistent service quality.

Client & Business Growth

  • Collaborate with the Student Counseling & Advisory Services team to integrate scholarship and visa support into comprehensive student guidance packages.
  • Work with the University & Partnership Relations team to align scholarship and visa services with academic program offerings.
  • Support the Head of Education Division in pitching scholarship and visa services to secure $500K–$2M in education contracts annually.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell premium scholarship and visa services, contributing to 10–15% additional revenue through bundled offerings.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Leverage technology, such as automated visa tracking systems and scholarship management platforms, to enhance operational efficiency, targeting 30% adoption within 12 months.
  • Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements, reducing visa processing times by 10% annually.
  • Deliver quarterly performance reports on scholarship and visa KPIs, including application success rates, compliance metrics, and revenue contributions.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Education Division to support divisional growth and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in visa operations, scholarship management, or international education services, with a proven track record of managing complex processes.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of immigration regulations and academic funding systems; excellent organizational and communication skills; proficiency in visa and scholarship management tools; ability to work across diverse cultural and time zone contexts.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Law, Education, or a related field; certifications in immigration or education consultancy are a plus.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with a strong ability to manage regulatory complexities and deliver client-focused solutions.

Commission Structure

  • Compensation Model: Performance-driven commission model with competitive base compensation, plus incentives tied to scholarship and visa processing success, client satisfaction, and divisional revenue growth.
  • Performance Incentives: Bonuses or performance shares awarded upon meeting or exceeding KPIs, such as 95% scholarship application success rate, 100% visa compliance, and 10–15% upsell revenue.
  • KPIs: Achieve 95% scholarship application success rate, 100% visa compliance, 90% on-time visa approvals, and contribute to 10–15% upsell revenue annually.

Work Environment

  • Location: Flexible, with the ability to work across multiple time zones to accommodate global students and partners; potential for international travel.
  • Travel: Occasional international travel for meetings with embassies, funding agencies, or educational institutions.
