Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Education Division, the Manager – Education Technology & Data oversees the development and management of student information systems, digital tools, and data analytics platforms to streamline education services. This role ensures data-driven decision-making, enhances operational efficiency, and supports the division’s growth through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Platform Management

  • Manage student information systems (SIS) and digital tools (e.g., CRM, LMS platforms) to support education operations, ensuring 99% system uptime and seamless user experiences.
  • Oversee the integration of AI-driven tools into counseling, admissions, and visa workflows, targeting 30% adoption within 12 months.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to customize and upgrade education technology platforms to meet evolving student and institutional needs.
  • Implement scalable tech solutions to support education services across 193 markets, ensuring compatibility with diverse regional requirements.

Data Systems & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to provide data-driven insights for student counseling, visa processing, and partnership management.
  • Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to monitor KPIs, such as student application success rates, process efficiency, and service delivery metrics.
  • Deliver quarterly performance reports to the Head of Education Division and clients, highlighting data-driven outcomes and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making, targeting a 15% improvement in operational efficiency through analytics-driven process optimizations.

Data Security & Compliance

  • Ensure data security and compliance with international regulations (e.g., GDPR, FERPA) across all education technology platforms and data systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of data systems to maintain accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness for client and regulatory reviews.
  • Implement robust data protection measures, including encryption and access controls, to safeguard student and institutional data.
  • Train team members on data security best practices to ensure consistent compliance across operations.

Innovation & Scalability

  • Pilot at least one new edtech initiative annually, such as AI-driven career counseling tools or blockchain-based credential verification, to enhance service delivery.
  • Identify and adopt emerging education technologies to improve student support services, aiming for a 20% increase in process automation annually.
  • Collaborate with other managers (e.g., Student Counseling & Advisory Services, Scholarship & Visa Operations) to integrate technology with broader education services.
  • Support the Head of Education Division in pitching tech-enabled education services to secure $500K–$2M in contracts annually.

Business Growth & Collaboration

  • Identify opportunities to upsell tech-driven education services, such as digital application platforms or analytics dashboards, contributing to 10–15% additional revenue.
  • Provide technical expertise in client meetings to showcase Trend Nova World’s edtech capabilities and drive contract renewals.
  • Work with the University & Partnership Relations team to integrate data systems with partner institutions’ platforms, enhancing collaboration efficiency.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Education Division to support divisional growth and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in education technology, data management, or digital solutions, with a proven track record of implementing tech platforms and analytics systems.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, technical, and project management skills; proficiency in SIS, LMS, and analytics tools (e.g., Moodle, Tableau); ability to work across diverse cultural and time zone contexts.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Education Technology, or a related field; certifications in edtech or data management (e.g., Google Data Analytics, AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus.
  • Attributes: Innovative, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a strong ability to drive technological transformation and operational excellence.

Commission Structure

  • Compensation Model: Performance-driven commission model with competitive base compensation, plus incentives tied to technology adoption, operational efficiency, and divisional revenue growth.
  • Performance Incentives: Bonuses or performance shares awarded upon meeting or exceeding KPIs, such as 99% system uptime, 30% tech adoption, and 10–15% upsell revenue.
  • KPIs: Achieve 99% system uptime, 30% adoption of tech-driven solutions, 15% improvement in operational efficiency, and contribute to 10–15% upsell revenue annually.

Work Environment

  • Location: Flexible, remote-friendly, with the ability to work across multiple time zones to accommodate global students and teams; potential for international travel.
  • Travel: Occasional international travel for client meetings, technology implementations, or partnership engagements.
