Trend Nova World is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager – Fashion Consulting & Apparel Sourcing to drive its global portfolio in apparel consulting, design outsourcing, and fabric sourcing. This commission-based role offers a unique opportunity to secure high-value contracts, build sustainable supply chains, and contribute to Trend Nova World’s multi-disciplinary ecosystem across 193 markets.

Job Summary

The Manager – Fashion Consulting & Apparel Sourcing will lead Trend Nova World’s efforts in securing apparel consulting contracts, managing design outsourcing, and establishing global fabric sourcing partnerships. This role involves securing mid-sized contracts, ensuring sustainability compliance, and supporting cross-border wholesale expansion. The candidate will report to the Head of Fashion, Creative & Distribution Partnerships and collaborate across sectors to align sourcing strategies with global objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Scale

Secure 10+ mid-sized contracts annually for apparel consulting (trend analysis, sustainability audits), tech-pack development, and CAD design outsourcing.
Build and scale partnerships with textile mills, OEM manufacturers, and ethical suppliers in key markets (e.g., China, Turkey, Italy, Pakistan).
Support cross-border wholesale expansion in Europe, Asia, and Africa through strategic sourcing and supply chain optimization.

Secure & Monetize

Negotiate and manage contracts with textile mills and manufacturers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
Drive revenue through consulting services and sourcing deals, contributing to divisional growth targets.
Collaborate with cross-sector teams to integrate sourcing solutions with Trend Nova World’s broader offerings (e.g., wholesale distribution, creative partnerships).

Innovate & Transform

Ensure compliance with sustainability certifications (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS) across all sourcing and production processes.
Develop and maintain supplier databases, tracking performance and compliance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the Head of Fashion, Creative & Distribution Partnerships to align sourcing strategies with global fashion trends and divisional goals.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Fashion, Creative & Distribution Partnerships to support global growth.

Qualifications

Experience: 7+ years in apparel sourcing, consulting, or supply chain management, with a proven track record in securing international contracts.
Skills: Strong B2B sales, supplier negotiation, and sustainability compliance expertise; proficiency in trend analysis and supply chain coordination.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion, Textile Engineering, Business, or related field.
Attributes: Strategic, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a global mindset to navigate complex international markets.

Compensation Structure

Compensation Model: This is a commission-only position, with the Manager receiving an agreed percentage of revenue from consulting contracts and sourcing deals.
Performance Incentives: Bonuses may be awarded upon meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as contract volume, sustainability compliance, or revenue targets achieved.

Work Environment

Location: Flexible, with a preference for candidates able to travel to key global markets.
Travel: Frequent global coordination with suppliers, manufacturers, and field teams, with occasional on-site engagements.
Work Style: Hybrid, fostering a flexible and collaborative culture.

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Head of Fashion, Creative & Distribution Partnerships.
