Job Summary

The Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination will lead and design Trend Nova World’s global logistics and trade strategies, focusing on securing international freight coordination contracts and building strategic alliances with freight forwarders, eCommerce retailers, and B2B distributors. This role involves providing import/export advisory services to SMEs and trade councils, promoting eCommerce fulfillment support for cross-border sellers, and engaging with global clients requiring lightweight logistics coordination. The candidate will report to the MD/Deputy CEO and collaborate across sectors to align Logistic and trade services with Trend Nova World’s multi-disciplinary ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Global Business Development

Secure international contracts for non-warehouse-based freight coordination to support global trade operations.
Build and maintain strategic alliances with freight forwarders, eCommerce retailers, and B2B distributors to enhance Trend Nova World’s logistics network.

Advisory & Compliance Leadership

Provide expert import/export advisory services to SMEs and trade councils, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Promote and deliver eCommerce fulfillment support to cross-border sellers, optimizing their supply chain and delivery processes.

Client-Centric Solutions

Engage with global clients to offer tailored, lightweight logistics coordination solutions that align with their business needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with division heads in HR, IT, and other sectors to integrate logistics solutions into Trend Nova World’s multi-sectoral offerings.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director (MD)/Deputy CEO to support global growth.

Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years in global logistics, freight coordination, or trade management, with 5+ years in a leadership role; proven success in securing international contracts and building alliances.
Skills: Expertise in international trade regulations, freight coordination, and eCommerce fulfillment; strong negotiation and relationship-building skills; excellent communication for engaging global stakeholders.
Education: Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; certifications such as CSCP or CLTD desirable.
Attributes: Strategic, results-oriented, and adaptable with a global mindset to navigate complex international markets.

Commission Structure

Compensation Model: This is a commission-only position, with the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination receiving an agreed percentage of closed deals, projects, or strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
Performance Incentives: Bonuses or performance shares may be awarded upon meeting regional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as the number of countries activated or achieving specific revenue tiers.

Work Environment

Location: Flexible, with a preference for candidates able to travel to key global markets.
Travel: Frequent international travel for client meetings, trade summits, and partnership engagements.
