Trend Nova World is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager – Global Freight & Trade Partnerships to drive our global logistics initiatives. This commission-based role offers a unique opportunity to secure high-value freight coordination contracts and forge impactful partnerships with freight forwarders, eCommerce platforms, and B2B distributors across 193 markets, contributing to Trend Nova World’s multi-disciplinary ecosystem.
Job Summary
The Manager – Global Freight & Trade Partnerships will be responsible for securing global freight coordination contracts and building robust partnerships with freight forwarders, eCommerce platforms, and B2B distributors. This role requires aligning partnerships with Trend Nova World’s logistics strategies, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The candidate will report to the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination and collaborate across sectors to support global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Scale
- Develop and nurture strategic freight and trade partnerships to strengthen Trend Nova World’s global logistics network.
- Support the execution of Trend Nova World’s logistics strategy across 193 markets, contributing to scalable growth.
Secure & Monetize
- Secure high-value freight coordination contracts with global freight forwarders, eCommerce platforms, and B2B distributors.
- Drive new business opportunities in freight coordination and B2B trade, targeting key markets (e.g., GCC, ASEAN, OECD).
- Leverage cross-sector synergies to bundle logistics solutions with other Trend Nova World offerings (e.g., HR, real estate).
Innovate & Transform
- Collaborate with the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination to execute global expansion strategies.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (e.g., WTO, customs) in all partnership agreements.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination to support global growth.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in logistics, trade, or freight management, with proven success in securing partnerships and contracts.
- Skills: Expertise in B2B partnership development, negotiation, and international trade regulations; strong relationship-building and communication skills; familiarity with freight coordination and eCommerce platforms.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
- Attributes: Strategic, results-oriented, and adaptable with a global mindset to navigate complex international markets.
Compensation Structure
- Compensation Model: This is a commission-based position, with the Manager receiving an agreed percentage of successful contracts and partnerships.
- Performance Incentives: Bonuses or performance shares may be awarded upon meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as the number of partnerships secured or revenue targets achieved.
Work Environment
- Location: Flexible, with a preference for candidates able to travel to key global markets.
- Travel: Frequent international travel for client meetings, trade summits, and partnership engagements.
- Work Style: Hybrid, fostering a flexible and collaborative culture.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination.
- Collaborates with division heads across multiple sectors.
