Trend Nova World is seeking a strategic and data-driven Manager – Trade Data & Market Intelligence to build logistics data systems and deliver actionable market insights for global trade strategies. This commission-based role offers a unique opportunity to shape data-driven decision-making and support Trend Nova World’s logistics initiatives across 193 markets, contributing to our multi-disciplinary ecosystem.
Job Summary
The Manager – Trade Data & Market Intelligence will be responsible for building logistics data systems, analyzing global trade trends, and delivering market intelligence to guide strategic decision-making. This role involves developing dashboards, analyzing trade data, and supporting the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination with data-driven strategies. The candidate will report to the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination and collaborate across sectors to align data insights with Trend Nova World’s global objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Scale
- Collect, analyze, and present global trade data to support Trend Nova World’s logistics and trade strategies across 193 markets.
- Develop scalable data systems and reporting tools to enhance logistics insights and drive business growth.
Secure & Monetize
- Secure contracts for data-driven projects, providing market intelligence to clients, trade councils, and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver actionable insights to support business development in high-growth markets (e.g., GCC, ASEAN, OECD).
- Leverage cross-sector synergies to integrate data insights with other Trend Nova World offerings (e.g., logistics, eCommerce).
Innovate & Transform
- Develop dashboards and analytics tools to provide real-time logistics and trade insights.
- Collaborate with the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination to align data-driven strategies with global expansion goals.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination to support global growth.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–7 years in trade data analysis, market intelligence, or logistics, with proven success in delivering actionable insights.
- Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R), market research, and trade trend analysis; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Economics, International Trade, or related field.
- Attributes: Analytical, strategic, and adaptable with a global mindset to navigate complex international markets.
Compensation Structure
- Compensation Model: This is a commission-based position, with the Manager receiving an agreed percentage of successful data-driven projects and contracts.
- Performance Incentives: Bonuses or performance shares may be awarded upon meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as the number of insights delivered or revenue targets achieved.
Work Environment
- Location: Flexible, with a preference for candidates able to travel to key global markets.
- Travel: Frequent international travel for client meetings, trade summits, and data-related engagements.
- Work Style: Hybrid, fostering a flexible and collaborative culture.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to the Head of Logistics & Trade Coordination.
- Collaborates with division heads across multiple sectors.
